Reed Exhibitions is the world’s leading event’s organiser, with a growing portfolio of over 500 events in over 30 countries, and a staff of 3,900 exhibition specialists in a global network of 38 offices. Our events serve 43 key industry sectors, and in 2016 we brought together over 7 million active event participants to drive sales, network and learn.

Job purpose:

To drive revenue growth from the Korean market to Reed Exhibition trade events around the world by seeking out sources of new business, developing strong relationships with government bodies, regional authorities, associations and agents. To develop a thorough understanding of the Korean export market and all the methods available to assist Korean companies which wish to exhibit overseas.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive accelerated revenue growth from Korea
• Develop thorough understanding of all the ways Korean companies can be encouraged and assisted to exhibit at international events
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with all government and non-government bodies which influence and support overseas exhibition participation
• Develop relationship with show teams with existing Korean business and explore ways of growing this business
• Identify industry sectors and shows which do not have Koran business but are opportunity markets. Work with show teams to develop sales from Korea
• Where feasible facilitate direct sales with Korean companies
• Secure new funding for Korean companies to participate at overseas exhibitions
• Make use of all available internal and external market analysis and research to identify business opportunities
• Produce an annual commercial plan for Korea
• Produce and maintain a map of regional funding opportunities
• Report monthly on activities and produce an opportunity pipeline
자격요건 Skills and competencies:

• Fluent in Korean and English
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an international sales role in the Korean market
• Experience dealing with government bodies and trade associations
• Ability to work independently and to drive own work plan
• Proven ability to establish productive mutually beneficial business partner relationships
• Ability to work with teams in culturally diverse international markets
• Willingness to travel internationally extensively
• Fluent in Korean and English language
